Whether you have an idea you can’t seem to flesh out, an outline that needs some tweaks, or you’re a few chapters in and stuck in the trenches of writer’s block, Story Coaching will help give you the tools to take your ideas and make them into a completed first draft.
All of our services include the added value of two editors. Thanks to our different backgrounds, genders, interests, and experiences, we bring very different things to the table. Teamwork allows our clients to reap the benefits of much more diverse input than can typically be achieved by a single editor.
Story Session
During your story coaching session, we will talk through your ideas so far and help you plan out a road map to get across the finish line. This may be helping to outline your idea, refining an existing outline to ensure the inclusion of all Genre-specific obligatory scenes and conventions, or helping you through writer’s block by identifying problem areas and suggesting solutions.
Cost
$350 for a two-hour Zoom call
This includes the reading of up to 1,000 words (your outline so far or a two-page summary of any chapters you may have written). If your outline/summary exceeds 1,000 words or we are working through writer’s block and you would like us to read what you have so far in your manuscript, we will do so for $0.01/word.
After the session, we will send you a written report with the ideas we discussed and any reference sources we have recommended.
Book Coaching
If you want a team of editors to walk through your book with you from start to finish, we can set up recurring book coaching sessions. Each session includes us reading up to 5,000 words, and a one-hour Zoom call during which we will provide feedback on the material you submitted, plus guidance on how to proceed with your next chapters.

$3,500 for 12 sessions
Ghostwriting
Have an idea you want to share, but lack the time, inclination, or ability to write a book on your own? With ghost writing, we help our clients who have a wealth of specific knowledge that they want to share with the world convert those ideas into a book. With ghost writing, we will stay in regular communication with you via email and Zoom calls as you share your knowledge and vision for the book, and we deliver outlines, chapters, and completed drafts, adjusting the content throughout the process until your goals for your books match the reality we help you create.

Because the process for each book we ghostwrite is so unique, there is no one-size-fits-all pricing. Please contact us to discuss your specific project.
