Light Copyedit
Cost: $0.02/word
With a light copyedit, I will edit for grammatical and mechanical correctness and consistency throughout your manuscript. A style sheet is included.
Medium Copyedit
Cost: $0.026/word
With a medium copyedit, I will check for consistency of timeline, character details, and story logic. I will also note unfamiliar words which may require defining, and infelicitous use of terms, in addition to editing for grammatical and mechanical correctness and consistency throughout your manuscript. A style sheet is included.
Heavy Copyedit
Cost: $0.04/word
This service is essential when you need to reduce your word count, clean up your prose, or even ensure the coherency of your writing for authors whose native language is not English.
Heavy copyediting combines copyediting with a service known as “line editing”. I will do everything included in light and medium copyediting in addition to revising passages to correct infelicities, wordiness, and tone issues. A style sheet is included.
Proofreading
Cost: $0.02/word
Unlike with copyediting, I will not make any actual changes to your manuscript; rather I will make note of errors present in your final print copy by making comments on the PDF for you to revise at your discretion.
